Bay to Breakers centennial footrace is coming up on Sunday, May 15, with some major changes to the event. This year, the race starts at 7 a.m., alcohol and floats are banned, and runners need to be registered to participate in the race. The good news is Caltrain still will provide extra service to take Peninsula residents to the race. Four early express trains to the footrace will take runners to the Centennial event and additional two express trains after the race will make the trip faster.
